goodbyes

All Good Things Come To An End

It’s been 2.5 years of a true dream job, working for my favorite motorcycel apparel brand. Although I wish it were going to last much longer, I’ve been laid off and my last day is tomorrow at REV’IT! USA.

I know that I’m super fortunate to have had this experience, to work with some of the best motorcycle apparel designers and the best products in the world. My closet is certainly much fuller than it used to be :) I’ll miss working with everyone that I was able to learn from, I hope that we learned a lot from eachother and I have no doubt that you’ll continue to be talented, creative and skilled as you’ve always been.

If you’ve been watching my Instagram, then hopefully you’ve followed along all the amazing places I was able to go, like Amsterdam! 6? times in 2 years! Countless trips across the US including Canada (from West to East) and countless events, like MotoAmerica, MotoGP and GetOn ADV Fest and more. I’ve lost count!

I’m grateful for what I’ve was able to accomplish, leaving behind some opinions and impressions that I hope make a positive change on our industry. I hope I made you all proud! . I’ll miss my coworkers and especially the team in Oss. I’ve learned so much and can’t wait to take what I’ve learned (that isn’t proprietary :D) and share it with you!

In case you’re wondering, I haven’t found any other opportunities yet, although I’ve had some great conversations :) . I promise to update when I find something. I’m honestly trying to take a break from working for just a couple weeks (I haven’t stopped working since College)

Hopefully I’ll be able to take advantage of the weather we’re having in Colorado and do some riding.

I don’t know how to quantify 2.5 years in a blog post, so I’m keeping this super short. You can find still find me as @gearchic on Insta or FB or @thegearchic on Tiktok! I’m going to take a couple weeks to decompress, and take time for myself to try and do nothing. :)

Thank you everyone who’s reached out, and all the supportive messages. I’m truly lucky that right now, this is all I’m dealing with and know that a lot of you are dealing with far more greater challenges right now. So thanks for reading my post and I hope you are taking care of yourself as well! xoxo.
