wait, why not likely for riding boots? I’ve had my eye on these boots for my first pair of “Real Moto Boots” Do they not live up to it?

They offer a moderate level of protection. I would only wear the in the City, around town. I wouldn’t rely on them as your primary boot (touring, weekend rides, etc.). They’re really not designed with that level of protection. But once I get my hands on them, I’ll know more.

I would urge you to consider a slightly stronger boot for all of those purposes. Let me know if you need recommendations!

I have a website called motorcyclehelmetsandjackets.com that is about a year old and just two weeks ago opened a retail location as an extension of this business in the Saratoga area of New York. I offer apparel, protective gear and accessories for all types of riders (street, snow, track and trail) I am constantly learning about the technology of safety gear and apparel from helmets to boots and all of the in between. I want to offer the riders that buy from me the knowledge to make the right decision for them in reference to the type of riding that they do. I stock the Sacred Boot and would like to have a better idea of what boot would be the stronger type that you mention. Please a recommendation that I could pass along!
Further, I would love to visit often for input and to take part in your discussions to broaden my base of knowledge and to get the users inside view of what is available to women and all riders.

Hi Susie, it’s nice to virtually meet you. I would consider one (or more) of the following boots (in addition to the Icons, selection is always great!): Gaerne Rose, TCX Aura, Dainese Grace, Forma Simo, Alpinestars Stella Citta and Torre boots.
