Fieldsheer Women's Mach 7 Mesh Jacket

Does anyone have this jacket? My husband bout me a FS touring jacket which is wonderful, but unfortunately in the midwest we are cursed with hot and humid summer days. With FS, jackets seem to run a little big for me adn I don't seem to be consistent in sizing. My touring is an 8--which is a tad big. I bought a FS Cosair, which is "stretchy" material, in a 6 and that's still a little big. I need a 4 in it, but no one has it. Since it fits to you, I'm thinking that's why I need a 4. Only a 4 is available in the mesh jacket. We are afraid that it will be too small. I've looked at reviews and most of them are not helpful. Not too many of them talk about size. I wish they would have been more specific. If anyone has feedback, that would be great! Thanks!

I don't know this jacket very well, but here's a link to the item on Revzilla. They also have a video with tips on measuring yourself per their sizing guides:

It's on closeout, I'm guessing because it's being discontinued. That's probably why you're having trouble finding a 4. They have one but only in blue... I can give you recommendations for some similar mesh jackets though. I know the FieldSheer is cheap on closeout, but if you need some recommendations:

1/ Olympia's Airglide 2 or 3 both have liners. The 2 has a warm, waterproof liner. Whereas the 3 has 2 separate liners, one is warm and one is waterproof. Otherwise, it's totally mesh!

2/ Revit Air: If you're petite and you need a 4, you'll want a 34 or 36 in Revit. If you post a pic of yourself and I can give you a better idea of fit.

3/ Dainese Air 2: You'd be a 42 or 44 if you're a US4. Again, I can't say for sure since I haven't seen you yet.

Hope this helps!

GC-

Thanks for your input. We've been hitting up the close outs bc of how much they mark them down--mostly bc they are bringing in the next version of them. I think I'm gonna stick with the FS. By following their sizing charts, I would need an 8, but I don't trust that too much. I have an 8 and a 6 in FS and they are both big on me. I truly wish there were stores that carried more gear...I hate having to buy everything online! Maybe you should open a store! :D

Thanks again,
Carey
