Sneak Peak, anyone?

New for Fall 2008!
Looks like Black/White is the new hot color for ladies this winter. Adding to the 1-piece suits that Dainese (Yu Suit) and Spidi (Lady Lizard) have put out, Teknic is also throwing this one into the mix. I think I like this style the best so far. The Viper Suit is going to turn heads, that’s for sure. Now if I could only think of a really good reason why I need this……..

Where can I pick up the Viper Suit? I can’t find it online anywhere?
Hi,
You can check for dealers in your area to order:

If you're near a cycle gear, that might be the easiest, quickest way to get one.
Thank you sooo much! I really appreciate all your help! I love the Canadian links, since I’m from here and it seems we don’t get the same stuff as the States so at times it’s hard to find.
Do you know if they make a 2 piece of this outfit?
You know, my name is Joanne too. When I first saw your other comment, I couldn't understand why I was sending myself comments!
I see a 2piece called the Vixen on their website:

What kind of jacket are you looking for? Is this your first leather?
LOL… that’s funny. Maybe it’s your alternate ego speaking… oohhh, spooky! Joanne is a good name.
Thanks again for that great link. I’m waiting to buy the 2009 250 Ninja. I’m taking my time looking at the 2008, to see if I can pick up a used one instead. If I don’t find a used I’ll grab a new one. I’m not in a rush. I know exactly what I want so I’m not settling and I’m patiently waiting. Fall and winter is upon us now so I’m picking one up at the bike show on the first week in Jan.
Yes, these are my first leathers. I just took my course and I’m a first time rider. I’m really excited and I just want to get something really comfy. I tried the Joe Rocket leather jacket and it was a beautiful red and looked awesome on me, but it just felt really tight. I want a coat I can bend my arms in and not have it so tight or tough.
I’m also looking at the Dainese Yu leathers. I really like those as well. It’s really hard for me to find things in my size because I’m so tiny. Most of the stuff is sold out right away so I’m in contact with my dealer ever 2 weeks to find out if and when they are getting new stuff in cuz things just fly off the shelf.
I’m hoping to pick up a red or yellow bike, but I love that Viper suit. I want to try it on to see if it is soft like the Dainese or if it’s tougher like the Joe Rocket or Icon leathers.
Congratulations!
Just a couple of things to keep in mind when you’re trying on gear.
1/ Leather is always going to be tight, they’re new, never worn. You HAVE to break them in. So it’s always advisable to buy them tight. That’s because they stretch, a lot! Once they break in they become more comfortable. If you get a chance, take a look at this page:

If you have any more questions, let me know. I’m working on getting some fit videos together on how to shop for gear. Would something like that be useful to you?
If you need any help sizing, send me some photos of you standing up, and I can try to help size you. I also have some articles about petite gear on my blog, so if you get a chance check those out. Also feel free to email me (just click on my profile)!
Thanks again for your feedback. Are they suppose to be hard though? I can hardly bend my arms? Yes, a video posted on youtube would rock! That would be really helpful. I’ll email the most recent pic I have. I’m usually behind the camera.
I’m 5’3 1/2 (cuz it makes all the difference! lol) and 115 lbs. I can fit into a size 1 – 4 depending on the fit, cut, how I want it to look and who makes it.
I’m also looking for boots and gloves. I bought these joe rocket gloves but hate them cuz I have really long fingers and the tips of my fingers dig into the gloves. Any suggestions on brand of boots or gloves? I know what helmet I have to buy – the Arai Quantum 2 in the small. I’ll just order it online. I’ m just waiting to pick out exacts until I have my bike locked down.
I love that whole Viper Ensemble from the helmet down to the boots. I’m going to check those stores to see if they have the entire ensemble. It’s just all ach cha cha! I love it!
A couple questions:
1. are you judging fit while seated on the bike?
2. Do the jackets have a liner? if so, what are you wearing when you try them on?
3. if there isn’t a liner, how many layers are you wearing?
If the jacket has a liner, I would try it on with just a tshirt or long sleeve shirt to get an idea for fit. If you plan to wear the jacket with a liner all the time, then going one size up would probably be ok. The only thing to be cautious of is losing fit in the rest of the jacket.
For gloves, try Rev’it, the Rev’it Zenith Ladies. I love these, but damn they don’t fit my short fingers! Revit cuts everything long as well. If you’re’ a size 0-1, I would also try Rev’it gear. They are cut so narrow in the shoulders, arms and waist.
